She’s right, too. Of all the shops he could’ve robbed, he robbed THAT one. In fact, considering how it didn’t get him much money in the end, he was probably better off choosing some other shop. But he CHOSE that one instead.
Y’know, I’ve heard the argument be made that once one becomes a crook, the circumstances following that choice make it hard for one to stop being a crook thereafter, as life doesn’t allow an escape route…I’m starting to see the truth of that point here.

I love how John tells a visual story in addition to the dialogue sometimes. That “At Home” sign is brilliant.
