I thought that this sentiment was just sub-text, but since I never read “The Fountainhead,” I’m going to go ahead and assume it’s right there in the text after this comic.
I think the net effect of reading the entire Rand oeuvre and following the advice of this one strip are pretty much equivalent. Save some time kids! Act like a jerk now while you can!

One of the reasons why I left Libertarianism was this great influence of Ayn Rand.
