Do children still wear snow pants?

This reminded me of that little boy in The Christmas Story that had so much winter clothes on he walked like a penguin.

With -12C outside and snow up to their waist, yes, my 6y and 8y wear snow pants. Should the temperature drop to -20C, I would be doing the same. Only for some reason it doesn’t make them waddle… probably better quality than Alice’s. :P

I don’t think it’s the snowpants, but all the other stuff underneath that’s doing it.

My 14-year-old wears snow pants - only now he calls the ski pants.

My parents made me wear some kind of ski pants that the snow stuck to- my legs ended up covered with icy clumps.

I remember snow pants. Mom made me wear them (grew up in Ohio) until I was in 9th grade.

I wonder what would happen if Alice fell down…lol….I don’t think she could get back up!….lol

I still do when I go out to wrestle with my dogs in the snow. Around here with 3-5 foot drifts, you have no choice if you want to even walk through the yard w/o getting soaked to the skin.

Snow pants were a necessity for sledding.

I wonder if this means she’s a graceful swimmer (in snow pants).
