Absolutely. Itā€™s a good idea to try to keep up with some of the slang your kids use. That knowledge can come in handy in other ways.

This Led Head hasnā€™t found much worthwhile since 1980 other than Brian Setzerā€™s stuff.

I think kids call good songs ā€œbopsā€ these days. Even jams is old. lol

Nostalgia coverage never seems to go out of style.

My daughter does this for me. :o) I have discovered a lot of new stuff, but it is still considered ā€œpopā€ music (OneRepublic, Muse, Imagine Dragons, Bad Wolf, etc.). The stuff you find on the Pulse channel of Sirius XM radio. Still like the older stuff (50ā€™s, 60ā€™s, 70ā€™s, some 80ā€™s and 90ā€™s, 2K, to current). Also a fan of classical, church choir, operettas (especially G&S), dub step, EDM, and other pieces here and there. Very eclectic tastes.

I thought a ā€œjamā€ was something one should avoid getting into.
