One advantage to having a veterinarian in the house is all the free medical care, although it still frightens the kids when she comes after them with a thermometer.

Ours breaks out in high-pitched singing before presenting what she ate…

But because she knows that we don’t scold her, she does that only in easy-to-reach-and-clean places.

And when you do take her to the vet, she will say that Toonces needs another cat to keep her company.

Sometimes you just want the word of a professional to know everything is okay………….even though you are going to be subject to an ‘I told you so’ from Dan.

Better to get these things checked out. You never know.

Feline dementia. It’s a thing. Older cats can get confused and frightened. Humans love it at 2 AM.

I’m siding with Dan here, as I’ve been through this to many times to count. On the other hand I understand Amanda’s concern and I don’t see any reason she shouldn’t hear it from the vet. She just lost a special wonderful part of her life and she’s not ready to lose another to chance.

Ha, one of our fluff-butts does the yodel, too. Scared us the first time, though!
