The notion of “people of color” is making the assumption that Caucasians are, like, the prototypical human being, and that everyone else is lumped together into a special category.
There was actually a story in the news yesterday about a woman who put up signs at the ends of her street warning drivers about “Autistic Child in Area” because her son tended to run out of the house. They were taped over by someone who objected to the phrasing to read: “Child with Autism in Area”.
Apparently there’s a real dispute about which should come first in such a sentence, the affliction or the afflicted.
And that right there, folks, is the level of thin-skinned, self-righteous, anal retentive ‘political correctness’ that is prevalent in today’s society.

I don’t think the National Association for the Advancement of Colored Pencils would have a problem with it.

I love that BB satirizes this attitude in his strip. Lighten up, folks – these are the comics.

I find it funny how offended the folks who scoff at political correctness get.

Google “Autistic child warning” to see it.

I find that charges of “political correctness” are generally made by those who have adopted an otherwise indefensible position.

People are amazing; they can take “trying not to offend people”, and carry it to such extremes that it becomes a way to attack people.

A: I don’t have a facebook page (and never will). B: If he’s too lazy to update his strip here, I’m not going to bother searching for it.
