Put a cowboy hat on Scratch’s head, cowboy boots on his feet and give him a guitar. If you do that you would have the perfect country and western singer. :-)
My wife had one cat or another while growing up. After our first child, she became very allergic. After our fourth She found she could hold one again. We’ve had Russel, for 8 yrs , now. Gets along great with our dogs.
Have been reading “Singing in the Saddle” by Douglas Green (aka Ranger Doug of Riders in the Sky). Current chapter contrasts the greater popularity of the less classically trained singers like Gene Autry and Roy Rogers over more technically correct ones like – well, case in point, I can’t remember his name. While I’m frequently complimented for my singing, I’ve only had 6 formal lessons, back in high school. To me, conveying the meaning of the lyrics is more important than any technical perfection.
