Like gas stations stating the price of gas.. restaurants need to post the wages they pay their staff so patrons can be a bit more sympathetic. The whole %% thing is wrong as well.. if you feel a need to subsidize the owners responsibility.. the tip should be a flat rate. The work involved to bring a toasted cheese sandwich is not much different that that required to bring me a $40.00 steak.
Let the restaurant pay their employees! Whoâs brilliant idea was tipping? I tip generously, but I wish the establishments would just charge a little more and cut out the dance.
I read this the wrong too at first. I thought he showing a picture of the guys family and was gonna say, âAnd youâll get them back when you pay the check, with a sizeable tipâ.

I always tip well. If I canât afford to tip, then I should not be eating out.
Iâve had a son who worked as a waiter. He got âstiffedâ a lot.

Waiters and waitresses donât make enough to survive, They depend on their tips to save the day. I always give 20% or more.
