The wrong answer that was right on.

Ask the garbage collectors who have to clean up after civilization. A person on their lonesome doesn’t care about what they leave behind. But a group of people need someone to pickup after themselves. If there are garbage-men, there is “civilization”.

We are really not that far out of the caves it seems…

It’s all right, Skyler. We sort of know where it’s ending; in what used to be the United States of America. Now it’s the Divided Factions of America.

Sky;er’s got it right. Read and listen to a lot of history . . . pretty much all the same at this point: people settled in an area, reproduced, population got too big for area, moved out and “took over” somebody else’s land where there weren’t so many people, dressed it up with a lot of religious/political tripe. rinse, repeat and repeat and repeat.

I’m confused… They called the original natives"barbaric, uncivilized", then proceeded to wipe them out to make them civilized. When they were done, they started a “civil war” among themselves????!!!! We spend more resources on perfecting ways to kill each other,than on healthcare. Boy…are we civilized!!!

As I remember, most historians point to the Caucasus (Central Europe) as the start of modern society. Whether that’s “civilization” or not is still up for discussion.

Some of us civilized enough to know we’re not.

Judging by our current situation, Civilization is vastly overrated
