Sort of an off topic observation but judging by the homeliness of practically every woman I see in the Overboard universe, now I can understand why all the men live together as bachelors and you never hear any man talk about being a father or being married.
Those commenting about the looks of the personified months, recall the comments from the snarky types: It’s a COMIC!! ;-)
That being out of the way: maybe this is just how ALL women look in the “Overboard” universe, and they are the great beauties there? I mean, everyone’s eyes are just a horizontal line most of the time, but maybe? :-P
“My arm would fall off from exhaustion before Ben would ever get tired of chasing the ball.”— Me, to my grad school roommate in 1983,, regarding his golden retriever Ben.
What are two summer months doing attired in long sleeves and either pants or ankle-length skirts? Seems to me they’d be better served wearing something to accommodate warmer weather.
It’s funny. Just before I clicked on this strip, I was thinking how I really like the strips with the personification of months, but since we’re now into the months wholeheartedly approved of by all the crew, there wouldn’t be any. And look what I found.

July couldn’t make it out of the month, and had to call in a relief pitcher.

Aesthetics aside, why are July and August represented as women, when both months are named afer men (Julius and Augustus Caesar, respectively)?
