I usually spend it three or ten times. “Remember the money we won? Let’s get that…” “Let’s go to…” and repeat as needed, or until I can’t delude myself that there’s any money left.

Use some of it for a tax accountant to help you stop overpaying your taxes.

One of you could go to Masa, a sushi restaurant in NYC ($595 per person, prix fixe).

I should have such a problem…really

Too little for something of value? You obviously have more expensive tastes than I.

That is EXACTLY how much I need to fix the oil leak in my car (per the mechanic that I don’t really know, so…maybe).

If you don’t need a car repair, invest it in something fun – some companies have freebies for investors, and you can set up a dividend reinvestment program. Own Disney, or Marvel, or one of a bunch of fun companies – or a company that you buy from a lot.

Decide on something you really want, then save the money and a little bit each pay period until you can buy what you really want (or need).

Some of the iPhones are $1500. So that’s out. But, really, does ANYBODY need a $1500 phone?

So, Betty’s hubby thinks that $600 is too little to buy something of value? The man has no clue how to shop. SMH
