Well, our car, van and RV (which is a Chevy Van conversion) have cost us $4000 in the past month and a half – and we are not done yet! We actually had the RV in for state inspection, I had car for work, husband had van out for lunch – van would not start, he had it jumped and drove it to the mechanic, picked up the RV and left the van. Next day we went to my mom’s house to check on it, on way home the car started acting funny at lights, picked up van, left car. One RV job we had to drive out of state – $25 in tolls alone. One day the car was at the mechanic and the van was getting new tires elsewhere!
Now that everyone’s weighed in on cars and their restoration, can we address the elephant in the room? Syntax! He should have said, “I think I’m in way over my head.”
