Humor her delusions. This time it’s going to be different than all those other times.

Twas ever thus.

Your children will resent you and your grandchildren will find you quaint.

Nothing current is as good as the 60’s music (or insert your preferred decade)

But but but … OUR music was REAL music, not like the trash they play today… (said my parents when I was a teen).

I grew up in the 40-50’s era!

There is NOTHING LIKE ROCK-N-ROLL! ☺️

Love it ! Love it! Love it! Well spoken! Bravo!

The real fun thing is when one of the “current things” put out a song that you recognize as a cover of a song from your parent’s generation. And so you know all the lyrics and sing along. Then you can throw in casually, “oh yeah, I remember when your grandparents used to dance to this song.”
