Is that really how American school kids behave?

Let’s be honest here, that 8th grader doesn’t strike me as a bully

Poor näive Nate. XDPoliteness never works unless you’ve got the upper hand!

That boy is quite a bully, and Nate for plan B, I remind you of these words “speak softly and carry a big club”.

Cartoon logic: Older than the main character = stupid disgusting jerk

They really need to have some of the school staff to monitor the lunch room. Like that would ever happen.

Let me guess: Nate is gonna get a detention for hurting that poor eight grader’s fist with his face.

How will he get out of this? And will the 8th grader “Pull a Randy” and blame Nate when the teachers show up?

Plan B needs to be “find another table”, but it’s Nate so I doubt it will be!

At least this violent 8th-grader is a TRUE bully. None of this wimpy “Boohoo, you called me [fill in the blank] and hurt my feelings” pseudo-bullying the snowflakes pass off as bullying nowadays. But someone needs to nip this behavior in the bud before it grows to true criminal activity.

Well… I don’t think this is going to result in a FOOD fight …or war …or apocalypse …or huge story ark where all of the characters ever mention will appear. But it still could be an interesting storyline.

Now Nate’s “favorite teacher” needs to show up and ask what is going on. Nate was completely polite and the other student is completely out of line and would normally be suspended for that behavior.

Mrs Godfrey will come in and yell at Nate for having his shoelace untied

This can’t be how kids act in the real world. Can it?

Nate be like: Nah fam nah

Some people just need a high five.

With a chair.

Me and the boys going to the hospital.

It would be neat to see Nate defend himself tomorrow. Instead of a teacher or a future love interest to come save the day.

That was surprisingly more polite than I was expecting of Nate.
