Actually, Mr. Ramirez, mass shooters are well-socialized.
They are socialized into fascism, into neo-Confederacy, into white supremacy, into anti-semitism, into homophobia, into anti-Hispanic, into anti-brown-people-in-general.
Yep! Just a few years ago we had a great idea on Drugs, just throw everyone in jail! We know how well that worked! So now many want to confiscate and outlaw guns – like that will work any better. Why don’t we begin by ENFORCING the gun laws we have today?
A white supremacist inspired by Trump, angry at the world. Kills 3. All those who enable the NRA and the false interpretation of the second amendment, to enrich the gun makers, this is on your heads. May you rot in hell.
Hey Mike, how is the white-supremacist handbook “Might is Right”, which is over a century old, and which the Gilroy shooter promoted right before murdering people, considered a video game?
Every other modern culture in the world has access to violent games and movies.
Every other modern culture in the world is suffering from desocialization… for a variety of reasons, none fully understood.
But only in the USA do we have a culture where anybody at all can easily get access to the “tools” of mass shootings.
By the by: Other nations have suffered serious mass killings, but mostly not with the devices that the NRA promotes. And mostly much, much less common.
Right wing terrorist shooting up a crowd in a “red” area of California, with, again, a legally purchased semi-auto HUMAN HUNTING RIFLE. Thirty round clips, got one reload in the minute it took the cops to stop him. Yep, that’s really a weapon you need to stop a burglar in your home.
White supremacy groups are the worst threat today in America and the world. Trump gave them his blessings when he didn’t condemn their actions so they are stronger, and bigger than ever. They are in fact committing Jihads all over America and the world. They are mimicking Muslim jihads…
Great plan, Mike! Let’s point at all sorts of “causes” (Real, like lack of gun regulation. Or Imagined, like video games.) but not actually study any data from countries that have successfully reduced gun violence. Yeah, steady as she goes. Let’s not change a thing!

Guns aren’t the problem … it’s the bullets. I guns could only shoot slow-speed nerf-like bullets a lot more innocent people would be alive today.

Unfortunately it is impossible for lawmakers to have a thoughtful good faith resolution of this issue

Another day, another crazy right wing terrorist out to kill as many people as possible and make everyone else’s life miserable.

Gee, Mr. Ramiriz — you forgot the gun component for the bigoted president who encourages white supremicists to act out.

Looks like the old “Video Game” myth. How about comic books cause juvenile delinquency?
