Evidently, one of the important comfort factors for recent generations. Complaints about being unable to save any money while coughing up big bucks for two or three lattes a day.
I witnessed a mother who gave her two children money to buy them some drinks. They came back from Starbucks with two drinks. She asked for her change. There wasn’t any! That was the maddest I have ever seen a human being, she kept screaming, “You fools know how hard I have to work for twenty dollars!”
That’s just one of the reasons that I drink hot tea each morning. Just 2 cents per generic tea bag which easily makes two mugs of tea. I find that tea is a major stress reliever…especially financial stress.

I don’t do lattes or espresso or any kind of “fancy” coffee-like drinks. Maybe that explains why I have enough money to retire.

I have been maintaining my rate of latte consumption since I was an infant. (0)

After the income stops, inflation eats into the retirement returns and you have to choose between hot coffee and paying rent.

Ever notice that some people who have only $20 will buy something for $40 if it’s marked down from $100, and then complain about owing money?
