Please forgive my ignorance but I have been reading Garfield for ages and I have always wondered if Jon could hear His thoughts? It looks like he can today!

Ignore that stray comment, Jon.

Now that Jon’s relationship with Liz appears to be going well, maybe it is finally time that Garfield brought Arlene home. I wonder if we’ll see him at Arlene’s house, too. Although maybe she’s a stray; I’ve never really been sure.

I can see this story developing with Liz and Arlene comparing notes about their boyfriends.

You know…the stray that makes sure you have a place to sleep, food for you to eat, takes you to the vet to make sure that you are “healthy”, etc…

Wow after almost 40 years Garfield introduces his “girlfriend” to his “parents”

Oh, that’s Jon. He’s part of the grocery-getter staff.

And John is more than a little surprised at a cat with lipstick.

People don’t have cats; cats have people.

Hard to believe this is the first time Arlene has been to Garfield’s home.

Maybe now Jon will adopt Arlene!!

I can hear Arlene thinking, “Well, this explains a lot!”

You’re telling me in 40+ years Arlene has never met Jon?!

Y’know….now tht I stop and think about it, except for the promo Sunday pictures, this is probably the first time Arlene and Jon ever met.

Wait a min, Arlene meet Jon first time??? But they already met before from comic, movie and any shows. I’m so confused

soon, Jon will be their servant
