The magic stopwatch that stops time featured in a 1980 TV movie starring Robert Hays and Pam Dawber, “The Girl, the Gold Watch, & Everything,” based on a 1962 novel by John D. MacDonald. A sequel, “The Girl, the Gold Watch, & Dynamite,” featured the same protagonists but different actors.

Hmmmm… I checked it up and in the original run Cow also suddenly appears perfectly healthy without any explanation of how she recovered from the cat-copter incident.
