It’s like I used to tell the kids. You don’t have to eat it, but there won’t be anything else. One tried to test me by refusing to eat, so I kept her plate in the ’fridge until she complained about being hungry. I warmed it up and gave it to her. She got my point.
mafastoreMy sister has said that sometimes her cats like to eat after they go up to bed for the night.
It seems to me that a cat or other animal that does not rush to eat its food is one that is secure that the food will be there when it is ready to eat it.
(I am also afraid of animals – all animals down to goldfish. I no longer run away screaming as I did when I was young, and control myself to stand there, but I am still afraid of them.)

Needs to put it on a saucer so his whiskers don’t rub on the sides. Mine likes it better.

Let Arlo do it. He knows all the tricks and (sometimes) they work.

It’s only delivering groceries if it’s dry food and will keep until hunger strikes.

In either case, I little appreciation would be nice.

Apparently, cat owners need to hide the food in small amounts around the house. Helps the cat think its hunting.
