Eating less chickens means there will be enough left to keep up egg production.

Actually, “tapering off” is a good way to diet. It’s easier on the body and you are more likely to stick with it.

I used to eat 10 candy bars a day, but now I only eat 6. Why am I still gaining weight?

My grandfather’s appetite was legendary. When he came home from WWI, the grocer thought my grandmother had opened a boarding house. He took 13 sandwiches for lunch every day: two each of six kinds of lunch meat and one of jelly. He also ate a quarter peck of fried potatoes and a dozen eggs for breakfast.

When I worked for Blue Cross, if I knew somebody was a railroad retiree I’d mention that my grandfather had been with B&O, and if they seemed interested, I’d ask if they knew him. One man recognized the name. “Child, do you eat like your grandfather?”

my daily diet? ok doc here goes. For breakfast I have a bowl of oatmeal and a glass of water. Then I go back to bed and get some more sleep. 2 hours later for second breakfast I have another bowl of oatmeal and a glass of water. Then I have a snack around 9 am that usually consists of a couple pieces of fruit and a glass of water. At noon I have a lean cusine entrée and a glass of water. When I get home from work I have a glass of milk and a couple pieces of fruit. My main meal of the day is usually a beef stir-fry with broccoli and cauliflower or other frozen mixed vegetable served over rice and more water. Just before I sleep I have some more fruit and water.

I guess the “intermittent fasting diet” would be a no-go. :P
