I believe, as do some of Trump’s supporters, that God put Trump in the White House. However, my belief is based on that this is God’s will to test my ability to love my enemy.
I feel like Sisyphus, I finally move the boulder out of the valley of hate up the slope of tolerance when Donnie does something stupid AGAIN and it rolls back down and crushes me.
I have to separate my hatred for Trump from the hatred of everything he stands for. According to Christian theology, we are all made in the image and likeness of God. I just don’t know what part Trump is supposed to look like.
I’m not getting used to it, and I think that a lot of people aren’t. I see more and more people willing to talk openly about Trump’s erratic behavior and willing to say that he has some kind of mental disorder.

I know I am not. I have not had a decent night’s sleep since November 2016. Nausea precludes good sleep.

He mistook sheer fatigue for a good night’s sleep. Only explanation so long as Buttercup rants on.

Good Lord one hopes not. To admit to getting “used” to trump means you have lost all faith in humanity.
