It’s a little room all fixed up and decorated however she likes. It has a chair and table where she can read or sit and think and have a cup of coffee. And most of all get away from the husband for a while! (I wish I had one!)

I’m getting an “outhouse” vibe…

The she shed dates back about 3500 years. See the King James or Vulgate Bible. Leviticus 15:19. The new English Bible changed it. Now locking the doors and closing shutters.

My whole house is a she-shed…..

not only is it covered in candy, there’s a large kid-sized oven in there

I’ve always figured the whole house was hers to decorate how ever she wanted.

My wife has one on our covered front porch where she paints and makes stained glass mosaics.

A suggestion for furnishing your she-shed (particularly in the Northern climes):

Insulation, draft-free windows, and a gas or electric heater.

A friend of mine turned an old but good condition barn around. A woodshop on the first floor and family approved game room upstairs. I’ve been there and his wife and their guests really like it.

Dude – better get cracking on building that shed.
