NRA is suing San Francisco after the city labeled the organization a ādomestic terrorist group.ā Seeing as how NRA has already been linked to Russian spies this should be an interesting discovery.
We live in central FL. My doctor has all his patients sign a āPatient Code of Conduct.ā The first thing on it is that they canāt bring a gun into his office. And yes, heās had patients do that. Whatāre they gonna do? Shoot him if they donāt like his diagnosis? Futs, nucking futs.
You never ever fire a warning shot, if a Trigger is pulled it should only be to stop a deadly threat. Brandishing a Firearm to stop a threat is dangerous in itās self , warning shots are stupid and mostly illegal per my training.
The second amendment does NOT say āā¦the right of the people to shoot anyone who makes them nervous no questions asked, shall not be infringed.ā Though many people seem to think it does.
A number of years back, after a Japanese Tourist was Killed by a Mugger, the Japanese government published a Video explaining the concept of āMuggingā to Japanese tourists planning to visit the USA.
It included instructions on āHow to Be Muggedā: Raise your hands, move slowly, hand over your wallet, purse, jewelry and wrist watches. Try not to Scream.
Iām a member of the NRA. I joined about a year before I was considering buying a pistol, just to hear their side from āthe horseās mouth,ā rather than from the other end of the horse, after mass media had done their digestionā¦Many of the comments above are at odds with reports in the NRAās monthly magazine AND what I was taught and learned in the concealed-carry course I took at a nearby shooting academy (more than just a rangeā¦) But I also realize that people who are afraid of weapons or ignorant about their characteristics will not believe anything that anyone says that disagrees with their point of view and beliefs, so I donāt try to change minds.
I would note that virtually all of the dangers yāall have spoken of or listed ARE the result of NOT following the basic rules of gun safety, and the deaths or injuries were NOT the fault of the gun OR the NRA, but most certainly those of the gun owners who did not follow the basic safety rules. But, hey, blame the gunsā¦ they canāt defend themselves or explain why their owners screwed up.

The shot that killed the fellow WAS the warning shot. Remember that line about the best defense being a good offense?
