Looks like the bird will recover before Clover does. Some things should be explained before they are demonstrated!

Clover may have lots of magical potential, but she’s still a sensitive little girl.

Clover’s eaten meat before. Hasn’t she been around the kitchen tent during meal preparation? Hasn’t Gramma been around the kitchen tent doing this transformation as a gag before?

So that’s the difference. A “clap” is readily reversible, whereas a “snap” isn’t. Got it.

Some lessons are harder than others.

What in the blue blazes did Olwen transform that bluebird into? To me it looks like a squashed paper cup.

Perhaps Granny should concentrate on a different living thing. Say…Offal.

Hahahahaha. Granny definitely should have first explained that the object or living thing could be transformed back to its regular programming.
