Ted likes to get up at the crack of noon!!

That would account for the giant lump. (Pun intended)

Since reaching 70, I have come to accept that I am at least partially retired. That allows me to stay up late with Gocomics and Cleo and Company. Unfortunately we still depend on folks who are NOT retired, Like the carpet guy coming early in the morning to finish the cleanup from our sewer overflow. So I will have to beat it to bed soon.

It took her long enough!.

Now Julie considers whether or not to try to beat the lump out of the bed.

If you have cats, this is a very common experience. Although I gather that Ted is human.

Lately, the only way Ted gets a bath is when Julie changes the sheets and puts them in the washer.

The following is only one of her plans to get Ted up:

Connect him to Scooter’s leash and casually mention that she just saw Miss Millie High-Maintenance across the street…

Go get a mirror to see if he is still breathing..

How long did it take her to figure that out ? Might be time to buy a new mattress.

Julie needs to just make her side.

She had thought Ted missed breakfast because he left early for work. She realizes that she should check for lumps before breakfast. Now she has to explain Ted’s absence at work.
