Scooter wants to borrow that rig for chasing squirrels.

Not gonna go there…nope.

Only Troy would think it was a good idea to test thrust under a tree.

Even failures (negative results) can be helpful (positive). They can rule things out. They can show you what doesn’t work and what not to do.

For instance, Troy probably needs to thrust in a different place or at least aim in a different direction.

Troy, disentangle yourself, you do not have far to fall.

At least Troy didn’t lose his comb.

Hits a tree more like.

As a sort of turn-about, this is the triumph of aerodynamics over thrust.

On the bright side, those pesky weeds in the liftoff area will not be returning anytime soon…

Never “strap” a jet engine to anything. There’s no “why?”. If the mounting isn’t designed to apply forces through the center of gravity and attached with the proper securing devices, your burning remains will become yet another abject lesson. Happens about once a year somewhere in the world.

He shouldn’t have binged on the IRONMAN movies. “How hard can it be?” has led many a man to dangle from a tree.

Troy seems directionally challenged.
