Even HE himself knows it’s not true… from the look over his face

Bill is wondering who the heck Reggie is.

And Sandy has to stop eating soda crackers. Lookit the crumbs. On the floor, on Bill…..

Sandy is up to something. She’s buttering him up.

/// Reggie fills out the crossword in ink,

which is part of what made Sandy think

he’s especially bright.

But he gets nothing right,

(and his character trait is to drink).

Such a conversationalist!

Sandy’s a couple of singers short of a choir!

He’d be more clever if he just buried his head in the Ballard Street Gazette. But their comics section isn’t nearly as funny as what is going on around him.

There was a young lady called Sandy,

Who was not such a stranger to brandy.

Let us be fair,

Her judgement’s impaired,

So she thinks Reg is smart and a dandy!

Reggie: {"Sandy is dandy, but liquor is quicker…"}

The porch crackles with repartee !/

There’s incredible wit on display../

The atmosphere’s thick/

With spectacular “Shtick”-/

But does anyone notice ? No way..

His loquacity is exceeded only by his taciturnity.

What is she wanting him to do?

she says with some spittle….

sandy’s such a character…

Reggie looks confused. Who is this, he wonders.
