Ask not for whom the cyborg hunts, Gordon. It hunts for thee.

/// Gordon never had been very keen

on an interface with a machine.

    Soon he grew to despise

    screens; he liked human eyes

and, while talking, to see and be seen.

When he looks through his window, he sees an apple with a bite out of it, and a large evil web ruled by mice and riddled with bugs. He sees Paradise Lost.

    Good morning, Ballard Dears!

    The internet isn’t so nice,

On a desktop or handheld device.

    Trolls are so mean,

    Their comments obscene,

They hide behind keyboards and mice!

There once was a troglodyte, Gord,

a computer he wouldn’t go toward.

Unable to dam, that river of spam,

he decided to just cut the cord…

It appears Gordon prefers to take the path less traveled.

    The Road Not Taken

    By Robert Frost

    Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,And sorry I could not travel bothAnd be one traveler, long I stoodAnd looked down one as far as I couldTo where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,And having perhaps the better claim,Because it was grassy and wanted wear;Though as for that the passing thereHad worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally layIn leaves no step had trodden black.Oh, I kept the first for another day!Yet knowing how way leads on to way,I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sighSomewhere ages and ages hence:Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.

Shades of “The Three Body Problem.” And amazing trilogy. And the Chinese film adaptation is quite good. I think so far it just covered the first volume or so.
