I’m pretty sure “luber” is another service altogether

Luber must be a portmanteau of “Lio” and “Über.”

Death better be a good tipper.

And, while with silent lifting mind I’ve trod

The high untrespassed sanctity of space,

Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

Take your time. Most of us waiting souls are in no really hurry either.

References to John Gillespie Magee and/or Ronald Reagan in a comic strip. Impressive.

But “slip the surly bonds of earth” in the poem “High Flight” is a reference to flying, not death.

I thought Death rode a pale horse, not a white wagon. Lio’s gonna need three more of those if he wants to get the Apocalypse contract.

“Hey Lio, your wagon has squeaky wheels. You need to lube’r.”

Does Death use your service when he takes a holiday?

Please keep him away from police and retired veterans. (That is no laughing matter).

I can think of a couple of destinations, but it’s probably too insensitive to state them, since people have loved ones there :^(

He is treating the Grim Reaper as a psychopomp.

get my mind out of the gutter…wait…I mean, get your mind out of the gutter. it stands for “lio uber”….I think. maybe not. schuy could be right.

It is clearly enough “L [space] UBER”, not luber.

Even so, hauling the Death Wagon is not the kind of job most teamsters would want, I think….
