Fruit bats don’t use echolocation because they’re diurnal?
The way that’s stated, is it’s implied the dog is still alive.
Aha. I knew it. Spielberg supports nepotism!
“NEED A MOM” looks a little too CLOSE to GLENN Close for me to ever trust her.
Fruit bats are often a menu item in their natural range. Roasted, in soups, etc.
But they can and do transmit some horrible viruses and have infected humans with Marburg and ebola, among others.
Just in case you are ever tempted to pet one. Or have it for dinner.
Just what the Millennials need, a Mom.
The fruit bat thing makes sense since the quality of fruit can be determined by its color, not shape or size, so being able to see in color is more useful than having echolocation.
Aluminum bats are the blind ones.
Nina’s plan could get quite interesting!!
Elmer apparently appeared in 4 of Spielberg’s movies: The Sugarland Express, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, 1941 and Jaws.
I don’t know if that qualifies as “several”.
I tried calling Nina and she answered with: “Well, look who it is! How come you never call me?”
No one could ever replace my mother, but it would be nice for someone to make me eat cauliflower occasionally.
I need a mom who will vacuum and wash the dishes for me.
And the cheapskate probably charges the studio union scale for use of the dog…
Fruit bats also roost in trees instead of in caves.
