Ralston: Hey, Mr. Negato! Captain Victorious: Uh, did you just say "negate-o"?? It's promsied "Negah-to." Mr. Negato: Actually, it's -- Ralston: Are you sure? I always thought it was "negate-o." Captain Victorious: I think I know how to pronounce his name. Dynaman: I always thought it was "neg-a-to." Mr. Negato: No, it's -- Ralston: I just think "negate-o" sounds better... Tyr: Isn't it "ne-gat-to"? Dynaman: "Ne-ga-to"? That doesn't even make sense! Tyr: Makes as much sense as "neg-a-to." Dynaman: Hardly! Neg-a-tive, neg-a-to, get it? Ralston: "Negah-to" sounds so snooty! Captain Victorious: He's a snooty guy... Mr. Negato: Doesn't anyone want to know what I think?? Ralston: Well, not if you're going to be so rude about it! Hamhock: I always just call him "Captain Frowny."

Around here there are a lot of Anglo mispronunciations of Spanish spellings of Ute or Pueblo words. No one really knows.
