It’s funny. I bowled my all time high game when I was 12. 175, as I recall. Every time I needed a spare I was convinced I’d make it, and I did. I don’t know why I was so confident. It was the only time I ever felt that way. I’m not sure I’ve ever topped 150 since although I haven’t bowled much since I was 16.
