Getting hammered in a bar … ho hum!

This strip came before the movie where Natalie Portman became Thor.

Thor’s a “Thor loser!”

Thor had his hammer stolen and the thief said he’d return it if Freya became his bride. Freya was not interested so Thor got into drag with Loki and went as the bride. Not his finest moment. Of course he got the hammer back and killed everyone, no witnesses!!

Ink Pen was just such a great comic! I wish Dunlap would come back to it.

The movie “Adventures in Babysitting” has a similar diss of Thor – except I probably can’t repeat it here.

“Hi. Tyr. Meet my buddy here. His name’s Mjolnir. He’s pretty good at what he does.”

Jane Foster threw the hammer.
