    Sorry, but it is half full and half empty and that has nothing to do with Schrödinger’s cat. Especially when someone is looking at it. If it was in a box out of sight and had a 50% chance of being broken or unbroken then the thought experiment would apply.

    The glass is in a state of optimal versatility. You cannot put anything in a full vessel, and you cannot take anything from an empty vessel. If it is half full and half empty, you can do either.

    Whether a glass is half full or half empty is easy to figure out. If you putting something into the glass, then it is half full. If you are removing something from a glass, then it’s half empty. Easy peasy.
