scrappy lad: Once I zap this spider in the microwave, he'll be good and radioactive! Then I just let it bite me, and bam! instant super powers!! Vmmm vmmm vmmm *ding!* scrappy lad: Mmm, maybe I should just let it lick me...
Here’s a great idea! Do a superhero movie where Ben Franklin gets hit by lightning while flying his kite in the rain. Now he has electric powers he uses to help the colonists beat the red coats. For the ladies we can have him infect Betsey Ross and she can be his sidekick!
This one has me thinking of a BC strip where BC hangs an anti bug box from the ceiling and in the morning there are eight legs hanging from the box and BC looks like he’s trying to through the floor.
Time to call for a superhero to get rid of that thing, microwave and all. I would definitely never use that microwave again, even after the spider leaves it. And I would evacuate the building in the meantime.

Get bit by that thing, and you’ll just be dead.

Electromagnetic waves, not radiation.
