I lick salt

besides Woodstock, what bird would lick a slab of salt?

What an incredibly odd idea for a comic strip.

curiosity killed the cat and gave the bird an incredible thirst!

I thought salt blocks were illegal in residential areas because they attracted deer and other undesirable animals, and also for hunters to use to attract deer.

You know Woodstock, those things will dehydrate you.

This is the weirdest comic strip idea for Peanuts….

And here I thought it was the Monolith from 2001.

I’ve never seen one before, either.

Guessing a good number of city kids have never seen a salt lick.. or, had the pleasure of licking one.

I can’t figure out why someone in CB’s neighborhood would have a salt lick. I see most of you assumed it had to do with hunting, but my first thought was that it was for cattle, but I didn’t think CB lived in a rural area.
