    You see that attitude in our nurses today. I hope they all have support services to get them through what they face daily. Doctors too.

    This storyarc reminds me of a saying we used when I was a Drill Sergeant: “In times of crisis people don’t rise to the occasion; they fall back on their training.” Good thing Luann paid attention in CPR class.

    I don’t remember this storyline. I’m glad to read it now. I am trained in CPR, getting renewed every two years. One thing to remember is that with or without training, everyone must try to do this if no one else is around. And if there are other people around, stop when you get tired and let someone else take over. This is the one thing that you rarely see on TV and it is so important. When you are tired, you are not as effective.
