It is sad that Luann’s family lives in mean-spirited and money-grubbing USA, where people go bankrupt from medical expenses. It is not “Communistic” for a country to provide full medical aid to its people … it is “socially democratic.” A healthy population is one that can be more productive … and happy.
I’m honestly surprised they had a college account for both kids. Brad didn’t go (I’m not sure the financial element of firefighter training) and Luann was specifically told her parents could only afford to send her to the local community college.
