Frame Three: The poor dear, it’s 1993, there was no Google, Youtube or Wikipedia. The first smartphone was only a year old. She would have to use this strange thing called a “book” stored in a distant building called a “library”. The “good olde days” were not that good.
Made me think of another mother-son conversation, a long time ago, far far away. “Ben? Is that you dear?” “Kylo Ren, mom—I’ve been Kylo for years!” “You’ll always be Ben to me, sweetheart. How are you?” “Not so good, mom. I killed dad, remember?”
so THAT’s who Sal is! I was wondering what happened to Ben! The gap lessens (I have olllllllllld Doonesbury books from the beginning, started late, but not sure where or HOW to fill in the gaps because the books don’t always have those little excerpts.)

Sounds like my mom. For decades, she called me Mike, which is my brother’s name.
