Sally reaches for Charlie Brown's back and says, "What's this on the back of your shirt? It looks like a note . . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown looks at the note and reads, "You didn't see me, but I was the one who hurt your feelings at the party . . . Please call me . . . 762-6414."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "I feel like a dented fender in a parking lot!"<BR><BR>

On at least one occasion, Schulz used a friend’s telephone number in the strip as a gag. Pity the poor soul(s) who had that telephone number in other area codes.
