Hmmmmmm…the worst comment I’ve ever heard him make to his wife. SHe made a beautiful arrangement and he disparages it without any regard to her feelings. So unlike him…..
In early October Costco had a reasonable price for the bottom pumpkin, in front, on the right. My daughter bought a couple and gave us one. It was too pretty to carve. It currently is still on the front porch, and decorated as a turkey.
No worries, Arlo. Thanksgiving is well on its way to morphing into Black Friday Eve and decorations would only slow down the flow of sweet, sweet money.
Speaking of decorations… It seems that decorations exist for every designated day on the calendar with the exception of Groundhog Day. Punxsutawney has such decorations, but I haven’t seen them anywhere else. If they existed, my Janis would have them.

C’mon, Arlo – can’t you be happy that Janis isn’t out of her gourd?

But the same ones will serve for Thanksgiving, too, unless there’s a freeze and thaw. Then you’ll have squash.

Consider pumpkins as “Halloween’s ’re-gift to Thanksgiving….”

Thanksgiving decorations? They did that back in July. Christmas will be over on Black Friday and then the Valentines decorations will be out.

I WISH there were more Thanksgiving decorations out! Most of the Thanksgiving decorations I use I’ve had for YEARS!

Arlo must exist in a different dimension. My own Janis has bought Thanksgiving-specific decorations for years.

Just what we need: another holiday to commercialize. The Bed Bath & Beyond circular I just got has a sale on chocolate turkeys.

Last week you wanted to cut down her tree. You’re moving from sarcastic to crotchety Arlo. Pretty soon you’ll be senile if you don’t watch out!

I doubt it. Looking for T-Day decorations between the Halloween and Christmas decorations is like looking for a Smart car in a supermall parking lot.

Ah, the Snake Oil salesmen live on!
I was just thinking this morning that I wouldn’t be surprised if the following conversation actually took place(not that I’m saying it’s true at all):
“Now, what will we do with this extra stuff after we’ve made the Hemp and Medical and Legal Marijuana products?”
“We’ll package it with a new name(CBD) and say it does all sorts of wonderful things!” ☺

My Veterans Day decorations are still up. The bazooka makes the neighbors nervous, but they’re too scared to ask me to take it down.

That won’t work at my house – at least this year. By the time Thanksgiving rolls around, that front porch will be under 18 inches of snow.

It’s not Halloween-like, it’s autumnal, it’s good until the first day of winter
