did you forget, Garfield, that Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, South Africa, and other countries on the lower half of the equator have Christmas in the summer?

As if I had any complaints about winter.

Hope Garfield likes being sick

My brother and I were talking the other day and laughing that when we were kids we loved snow, now when we have to shovel it and drive to work through it, we hate it. Then I said “But that’s why you have a teen age son” “If you say that you don’t know my son.”

YEAH! GO GARFIELD!!! I love Christmas and snow too! :-D

Just in time for you to start acting “nice.”

Except that after Christmas we still have another 2-3 months of winter weather. Snow, ice, slush, cold. It loses its allure quickly afterwards.

I won’t enjoy Christmas…. my partner of 24 years passed away towards the end of November and apart from family, I know nobody – some good e-mail friends but that isn’t the same. If it snows, it’ll make things worse.

Sure, trying to fool an old man with a white beard and wearing a red suit is like trying to fool an old man with a white beard and wearing a very long white gown. Both can’t be fooled, cat!

Garfield seems only slightly more sincere in his apology than Lucy did in today’s Peanuts strip…

No sorry Garfield. Winter still spews.

And all you snow-huggers out there can just go… hug snow. (/me grumps back inside after stamping “fun stuff” off my boots.)
