My two older ones are like that. The first round is usually by 7:30.

Since both Hobbes and Santa are figments of Calvin’s imagination, you can be sure that the latter knows everything that goes on.

Was anyone else reminded of Tasmanian Devil in that last panel? It also brought to mind the logo for the old black and white TV show, Dennis the Menace.

Too bad Calvin couldn’t draw on some of that fictitious anger when he’s confronted with Moe, the bully. Moe would leave him alone; just out of respect.

And all that previous effort being good is wasted!

NO ONE could draw a “fight” as well as Watterson….

I’m glad that we don’t have to be good enough to “earn” our eternal reward from God.

Calvin is a victim of circumstance, Santa is bound to understand.

This fight will end being good!!

That was Calvin who was running down the street, screaming, “Help, help, the paranoids are after me!!!”

Reminds me of the old 3 Stooges line (at least I think it was the Stooges). Larry: “I’m as pure as the driven snow!” Moe: “Yeah, but you drifted!”

Calvin might still have a shot at Christmas, provided Santa’s surveillance drone is offline.

Hobbes can eye roll as well as anyone. Except my wife.

Calvin clearly exhibits what is wrong with our Society in general. Too many refuse to accept responsibility for their own actions and are constantly looking for a scapegoat to blame for their misfortune.

Calvin’s imagination conjures up more than a talking tiger and time machines, etc. It also conjures up himself as a good little boy.

FoxtrotFanOfficial has written the same thing on Garfield, Pearls before Swine, Calvin and Hobbes, Luann and Big Nate. He just changed the name so it applies to the comic strip. Can somebody report them please?

The lines in the last panel are gold. Watterson was a master of witty banter.

This is so awful, isn’t it? I’m all for children trying to be good, but it’s such a shame that Santa has been turned into a source of fear of being watched and judged, not to mention an impetus for unbridled consumerism.
