It’d be like one of those children’s books they used to sell (and still do, for all I know) where they substitute the child’s name for one of the characters.
Dear blog readers : Today I ate some Thioridazine and drank some Windex and then I put on my La-Z-Boy shoes and my Zig-Zag backpack. On my way to school I saw somebody driving a Blue Nun and I thought they looked cool.
At first, I thought this strip needed some _______________, but then I had a nice _________________ and realized all it could use was a bigger ________________.
However… this is the age-old, “chicken vs. egg” conundrum here…. on TWO levels….. a) Since Nancy is writing the blog post… is it Nancy who is leaving the blank lines, or is it Olivia? … and b) is the artist here actually Nancy who considers herself a blog artist… or is it Olivia who is the artist in this case?
Then… the second “chicken vs. egg” conundrum is in the sponsors….. the action is a call for infusion of cash…. but without the FAME that Nancy craves…. her readership remains low…. therefore the the sponsors potentially attracted would only be the lesser sponsors with less cash reserves for this service…. so…. Nancy really needs to get her readership up FIRST and then go after the big named sponsors, IMO. :)
Since the note talks about a “previous panel”, I’m guessing that the note was written by Olivia herself. But then again, Nancy has the ocassional tendendy to break the 4th wall, so I may be wrong.
One day at the UH Physics Department, students were anxiously conferring after a programming class taught by a non-native speaker. He had used the term “ba-Ran-key” and nobody knew what it meant. Finally someone asked him straight out. He was saying “blank.”
(Not sure if he’s the same teacher who was teaching when a student raised his hand and asked if the class could be conducted in Chinese, since everyone there was from China. He was informed that the class would be taught in English, and that was that.)

We should start a GoFundMe and buy some space.

Today I ate some Percocets and drank some Wild Turkey 101 and, uh, what was I talking about?

Brand names aren’t necessary to fill in the blanks. She could use cookies, milk, running, pink, and convertible, and everything would make sense.
