A fast-thinking child is a thing of wonder. One time, when my younger daughter was in elementary school, she was telling us about her day. She started telling us about gym class. My husband teased her, saying, “Who’s ‘Jim’?” Without missing a beat, she answered, “A cousin of Art.”
and when it coughed you could hear it for miles and miles. It was green and brown and always looked a little slimy. only another bronchitis could love a bronchitis. the end.
Nothing to do with this strip but ,FYI.. For those of you who are a certain age. On this day back in 1965," A Charlie Brown Christmas " made it’s debut! I remember it well. Still watch it every year now with my grandchildren….
I used to get one of those all the time. I treated them aggressively and with great anger (I am an angry patient. Angry at the malady, not at the caregiver, if any.) And with steamy showers, breathing steam, neti pots and potent antibiotics. Last time I had one it developed into pneumonia and that was the last time I was ever visited by bronchitis. The frustrating part of that was that it appeared during Superb Owl XXIX and I had to watch the 49ers win their fifth (The first team to win 5) while flat on my back.

I suppose the fact that it couldn’t cover its mouth did the rest of the dinosaurs in.

Probably meant to say Brontosaurus, which was decommissioned as a species and therefore doesn’t exist any more than Bronchitis dinosaur does.
