Here’s a thought. Maybe Overboard could try drawing a cat that actually looks like a cat, and not, like in panel 2, a monster from Godzilla.

Hey, have him grab a blonde mouse girl and climb the mainmast with her. Then the other mice can shoot him with real bullets from their airplanes until he falls dead like King Kong – and we’d be rid of him.

Hmm . . . I see an interesting story arc here: Scratch could take over the comic for a week like Billy does in “Family Circus.” It could be both intriguing, and terrifying.
