I haven’t read this strip since Day One, so somebody will have to tell me: Did Tatulli ever do this fantasy / dream sequence stuff before Heart did the time jump to age 11? I know she was a creative and imaginative little kid but I don’t remember the stories veering off into these bizarre directions. I didn’t see it happening until that weird arc where Heart had that trippy experience after taking Mrs. Angelini’s cold remedy.

Now it seems there’s a fantasy sequence every other storyline.

Makes sense that a dolphin would know how to lucid dream, seeing that they are the second most intelligent species on Earth.

Darn. When I had a dream within a dream once, I thought I was unique (and not because I saw ‘Inception’). Now there’s a term for it?

What did mom put in that milk anyway?

“Oh drat… I accidentally gave Heart my milk. Well, it’ll knock her out, for sure.”

I dunno…….. I tried the warm milk thing last night. Didn’t help at all.

You cannot learn new information while sleeping. That is silly.

Lucid dreaming is rare and can be most entertaining.

yo so question i started reading this comic around 2 months ago, since then i’ve binged out like 5 years worth of it and i’ve noticed people saying they prefer the old heart and dislike the new one. Can someone explain to me why this is so for the new one, whilst i agree the old ones was good, in my opinion the news ones are better as it more or less caters to reality and more people can relate to it. My opinions but :shrug:

Heart will soon be ready to pose for the Houghton Mifflin logo.

If you don’t like this arc, blame Dream Productions and skip it.

Is this storyline a repeat?

I would’ve preferred an explanation about why a dolphin has appeared first over a definition for lucid dreaming.
