“There was three misspellings.” Ahem… I believe that ‘was’ should be a ‘were.’

That should be “There WERE three misspellings.” (The Grammar Pedant strikes again!)

I’m surprised that both of you didn’t comment on the fact that all words were spelled correctly, even if one was used incorrectly.

Doesn’t change the fact that they do think their level of intelligence is more superior.

Spelling and inteligence have nothing in common, so joke may just be on them !

There were no spelling errors, but the reply was grammatically incorrect. Draw your own conclusion.

Just look at the British. They don’t know how to spell words like “humor” or “aluminum.”

And just think… this comic is from 1962 – long before the internet and texting started contributing to people’s stupidity.
