    I wish trees would drop there leaves all at once. Rake them up one time and be done.

    But the squirrels are speeding up the balding of the trees so you don’t have to rake again – if lucky..

    Ginkgo trees lose their leaves within three days, leaving a round skirt of yellow leaves at the base of their trunks.

    Thank them. They’re keeping you from having to come back later. Of course you could leave the leaves so the worms can use them to revitalize the soil.

    We had a major snow storm so no more raking this year. In fact, the tractor is now, a bit late, being changed over to push the snow.
