Corky is right in Panel 1! Years ago, this was a life-or-death procedure, and everyone made a huge deal out it! … Think of the Doctors Debakey and Cooley times! … Now, it’s done practically everywhere…
Presumably she is getting coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG).Time frame would be consistent with that “operation” rather than stenting “procedure.”Or, maybe she is getting a frontal lobotomy?
We spend literally months being lectured about the PA’s psychic ability to pick up on diseases merely by walking by a person, but we aren’t told what Terry’s issue is? Sigh.
I remember coming back to work after injuring my back and having to work on light duties. My chiropractor looked shocked when I told him the first thing I had to do on my shift was move and restack 50 50lb bags of baking soda. He told me I was supposed to be on light duty. I said “I know. That’s why I only carried one bag at a time.”
